We ship in USA only. We do not ship internationally. Free pick-up is available next-day to Austinites - instructions will be emailed to you when your order is ready for pick-up.
Your packages are shipped UPS or USPS, your preference is required upon checkout. Business days are Monday through Friday, excluding holidays. Shipping is based on product weight. Please do not list a Post Office Box (PO Box), or a Highway Contract Box (HC Box) as UPS cannot deliver to a PO Box and shipment of your order will be delayed.
Shipping Material: When you receive your package you may notice that its in a recycled box. At StorkThreads, we make every effort to minimize the level of waste we produce, so we reuse boxes and shipping materials whenever possible. We hope you'll reuse or recycle them as well! We are also proud to use EcoEnclose biodegradable bubble mailer envelopes that are compostable and made in the USA!
Pre-ordered items: will be shipped when we receive the merchandise. In most cases we will ship your in stock items and backorder items within your order in one shipment. If you would like to receive your non backordered items faster, please contact us at stork (at) storkthreads (dot) com and we will arrange for those items to be shipped as they become available.
Same Day Shipping: Orders placed before 4:00PM (CDT) Monday-Friday are shipped the same day. Applies to products with "Usually ships within 24 hours" listed in the "Availability" section of the product detail page.

*From the time of shipment. Business days are weekdays, Monday-Friday, excluding Saturday, Sunday and holidays. Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico and the Virgin Islands may take an additional day. Once an order has left our facility with the carrier, it falls under the carriers guidelines and guarantees.
**We guarantee a full shipping refund for all domestic orders unless the delay is due to situations beyond our control, including but not limited to inclement weather, and natural or manmade disasters. Please note: the guarantee refers to the delivery date, not the delivery time.
If a wrong/insufficient address was provided at time of order and your package needs to be redirected for any reason, a redirect fee will be charged to you. The fees are as follows:
Sales Tax: Texas sales tax (8.25%) will be assessed for all TX residents.
Payments: We accept all major credit cards: Visa, MasterCard, Discover & American Express. Payments are processed through industry standard secure servers, so that you may feel safe about processing your order.
Order Confirmations & Sales Receipts: You will receive an automatic order confirmation sent to your email shortly after placing your order (please double check your email address to be sure it is entered correctly or you will not receive the confirmation).
*Please note: Sales receipts are never shipped with your gift item.
Cancellations: We can cancel your order before 5 PM (CDT) the day of your order or as long as it has not actually shipped and any personalizing of your order begun. Orders cancelled after 5 PM (CDT) the day of your order are subject to a 20% restocking fee. Refund will be total order price, less the 20% restocking fee.
If you need to return an item, simply login to your account, view the order using the "Complete Orders" link under the My Account menu and click the Return Item(s) button. Pls indicate the reason for your return. Once your request is submitted, we will notify you via e-mail with instructions for your return. In addition, you will receive an email once we have received your return and processed your refund/credit request.
You may return most new, unopened items within 30 days of delivery for a refund/credit. For incorrect, defective, or damaged item, we pay the return shipping costs. Shipping and handling charges are non-refundable. All credits will be refunded to the credit card/payment method used at the time of purchase. Store credit can also be issued for gift recipients in the event received gift is not quite right. The following items are non-returnable: personalized items. All sales become final 30 days after you receive the item.
You should expect to receive your refund within four weeks of giving your package to the return shipper, however, in many cases you will receive a refund more quickly. This time period includes the transit time for us to receive your return from the shipper (5 to 10 business days), the time it takes us to process your return once we receive it (3 to 5 business days), and the time it takes your bank to process our refund request (5 to 10 business days).
Return Shipping Policy: Customer is responsible for return shipping. UPS is the preferred carrier for sending back returns because they are able to track the package. They will automatically insure the package up to $100. If your purchase is more than that, you should consider insurance. Please note that we are not responsible in the event of loss or theft of your items sent for returns.
